Kuwait Qatar Insurance Company KSCC is a Kuwaiti Shareholding company positioned to service the needs of the Kuwaiti market. We were incorporated to start operations in July 2007. Prior to this, we started life as a branch of Qatar Insurance Company back in 2004.
KQIC is regulated under the Kuwait Companies and Commercial Insurance Laws to transact all lines of ‘Conventional and Takaful’ insurances in the State of Kuwait.
The KQIC Takaful Unit was incorporated into the composite company in June 2009 after obtaining the required license from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (Insurance Supervisory Department).
KQIC’s subscribed and paid up capital is KD 5,000,000. We were assigned an “A”/Stable rating by Standard & Poor’s, which was obtained in July 2013. We are the only national insurance company in Kuwait with this rating. KQIC is managed by QIC International LLC (QICI) whilst the CEO reports to the Board of Directors.
